Sameer Tayebaly, Barrister-at-law, has been practicing at the firm for over 4 years and is engaged in a variety of contentious matters including regulatory investigations, company petitions and shareholder disputes, cross-border arbitration, general commercial and contract litigation, consumer protection cases, and fraud and financial crime. Sameer currently practices predominantly in the High Court of Sindh at Karachi.
Sameer has experience across a range of industries including energy, textiles, technology and telecommunications, construction, financial services, logistics, agriculture and food, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, retail, and professional services.
Previously, Sameer regularly practiced in the District & Sessions Courts and Banking Courts in Karachi. He worked on several commercial and contractual disputes, as well as banking recovery cases under the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finance) Ordinance, 2001, primarily for claimants. He also appeared for both claimants and defendants in the consumer courts under the Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2014. Sameer gas conducted over 25 evidence hearings, including examination-in-chief and cross examination during civil trials.
