SHC Enforces Arbitration Award in Favour of Firm’s Client

Mohsin Tayebaly & Co. appeared on behalf of a private limited company before the High Court of Sindh for enforcement of an arbitration award regarding development of a project at Pakistan Defence Officers’ Housing Authority, Karachi.

After hearing our arguments on the nature and scope of enforcement of arbitration awards and objections to arbitration awards under the Arbitration Act, 1940, the High Court enforced the award as a rule of the court. The High Court permitted our client to carry out its development project and extended the time period for project completion to account for delays due to litigation.
