The recent sanctioning of the Scheme of Arrangement by the Islamabad High Court marks a major milestone toward the successful completion of this landmark transaction. With consents already obtained from secured creditors, shareholders, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, and the Competition Commission of Pakistan, this final approval paves the way for transaction completion, expected in early June.
This partnership represents a meaningful step forward in expanding Pakistan’s digital infrastructure and enabling broader, more affordable access to telecommunication services—advancing national efforts to bridge the digital divide.
