PKR 5.5 Billion Long-term Sukuk Issue Of Thatta Cement Company Limited

Mohsin Tayebaly & Co. was engaged as transaction legal counsel with respect to the issuance of rated, privately placed, secured, long-term, Shariah Compliant Sukuk Certificates by Thatta Cement Company Limited in the aggregate amount of PKR 5,500,000,000/- (Pak Rupees Five Billion Five Hundred Million), for which purpose Pak Brunei Investment Company Limited was appointed as the Investment Agent and the Musharaka Agent, Al-Hilal Shariah Advisors (Private) Limited acted as the Shariah Advisor and AKD Securities Limited was the Financial Advisor & Arranger.

The Firm’s scope of work included full scope investor side advisory.
