SHC Dismisses Petition Filed Against Firm’s Client, a National Sporting Body

Mohsin Tayebaly & Co. appeared on behalf of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation and Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association before the High Court of Sindh in a Constitutional Petition filed by a player challenging a ban imposed on him.

After hearing our arguments, the High Court was pleased to dismiss the petition. The court held that Constitutional Petitions under Article 199 are not maintainable against sporting bodies being private organizations without control of the Federal or Provincial Governments.
